Volunteers enjoy giving something back to the community. They feel good knowing they have helped make a difference in someone’s life.

Volunteers choose how they wish to serve. They may participate in one program or as many as they like.

Meals-on-Wheels

Most of our MOW customers live alone. I love bringing them a little break in their lives.

MOW Volunteer

Volunteers deliver meals to homebound seniors. Most volunteers deliver once a week. Sometimes several people work together as a team to adopt a route and each team member delivers once a month. Meal delivery also provides a valuable safety check to assure the wellbeing of meal recipients. Routes usually take one to two hours to complete and mileage is reimbursed.

Friendly Neighbor / Shopper

I love the rewarding feeling of being able to help people. The smiles on their faces.

Volunteer Shopper

Volunteers grocery shop for seniors who can’t shop for themselves. They also run errands, such as picking up prescriptions or an item from the hardware store. The senior pays for all purchases, and mileage is reimbursed.

Extra Hands

Volunteers help out in various ways. They may fill in for another volunteer, perform a one-time chore, or help out in the office. The volunteer chooses the activities he or she prefers.

Chores / Community Projects

Volunteers perform simple chores such as yard work, minor household repairs, moving furniture, painting, or general cleaning. Volunteers may be individuals, churches, civic, school or corporate groups.
