The MOWs program provides a
lunchtime meal to homebound older adults.
All meals are nutritionally balanced to provide one-third
of the recommended daily nutrition requirements for adults.
This program also provides a valuable safety check, via
the driver's visit, for all recipients. Some people are isolated and may
be at risk of falls or health problems. For them, this daily visit could
be a life saver.
