    Clermont Senior Services is pleased to present The Welcome Center, an adult day care service program for people with physical or mental impairments who need socialization in a supervised setting.

    At The Welcome Center participants are encouraged to remain as active and independent as possible with the assistance of warm and caring staff.  Some of the services provided include:

  • A care plan for each individual.
  • Group socialization.
  • Physical activities, exercise.
  • Assistance with activities of daily living including walking, minimal personal care, and meal time.

  • Medication given as prescribed.
  • Noontime meal, snacks.
  • Health screenings, including monthly monitoring of blood pressure and weight.
  • Transportation to and from the center upon request.

Focus Is On the Individual

    Emphasis is placed on your loved one's strengths and abilities.  Our ratio of six participants to one staff member will make this possible.  Our environment will promote social stimulation and group interaction.

Qualified and Caring Staff

    The Welcome Center is staffed by qualified individuals dedicated to creating a warm and caring environment for participants.  Assisting in that endeavor are:

  • Program Manager (Registered Nurse)
  • Coordinator (LPN)
  • Activity Leader
  • Program Aide
  • Administrative Assistant

Convenient Location

    The Welcome Center is centrally located at the Lois Brown Dale (LBD) Resource Center, 2075 Front Wheel Drive, Batavia, Ohio.  Then center is in the west wing of the YMCA building.

    Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for major holidays.

Who Is Eligible to Enroll

    To qualify for adult day service a person must be age sixty or over and reside in Clermont County.

    Before an individual is enrolled, a team evaluation is performed to determine if the program is appropriate to the individual's needs.

    Once accepted, an individual may attend the program from one to five days per week, depending on availability.

Cost of Service

Adult Day Services are provided to all eligible recipients for a suggested donation/cost share based on a sliding scale.

No fees are charged and no one can be refused service if they cannot afford to donate.

Some recipients may qualify for financial assistance through the PASSPORT program.
